"Road Not Taken" - Do you remember this poem?  In 2026, all SAP developers are wondering what AI , MCP servers are going to change the wind direction to be watched on OTT. (SAP TechEd 2026).
As a Fiori developer,  

When I started a decade ago, the UI5 walkthrough tutorials were the definitive starting point for mastering the SAPUI5 framework and MVC concepts.

Now as a Technical Lead, in 2026 - i need to be equipped as full stack developer.

However, the landscape has evolved. For customers running on S4HANA (ABAP Stack > 7.5), the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) is now the standard.
Eclipse -> help - > Has Tutorials section to get started. There is no API reference style documentation here(yet to find).

Conversely, for those utilizing S4HANA Public Cloud, the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) is the primary direction.

As I navigate these options, I am evaluating how to best align these frameworks with our current development strategy.

Which road are you taking  - The CAP route or the RAP Route.
